Conservarea în muzeu a unui cuptor de uz casnic, descoperit în aşezarea de secol IV d.Chr., din Punctul „Călălboaia”, sat Polocin, com. Pogoneşti, jud. Vaslui

  • Subiect: „The discovery of a household oven during our archaeological research campaign, in the settlement dated to the 4th century AD, from the "Călălboaia" point, Polocin village, Pogoneşti commune, Vaslui county, in 2016, was an event of the utmost importance. By that time, discoveries of such immensity and significance had been extremely rare, therefore, revealing the new artifact opened our high interest since the first moment, and we tried to do our best to save it and bring it well-preserved to the museum. Withal, the present report intends to help the archaeologists who will reveal similar artifacts in the future, in order to exhibit them in museums and we tried to show what steps need to be taken in order to achieve the same aim. The images intend to increase the explanation of the data that we consider important in understanding the steps needed to be followed in order to recover and preserve such an artifact from the site.”
