  • Subiect: Teleorman settlers in Cadrilater The Cadrilater occupies a special place within the Romanian provinces lost in the summer of 1940. Its history has been marked by a permanent ethnic fluctuation, being subjected in the modern and contemporary age to territorial disputes. After the entry of the Cadrilater into the Romanian state, he made considerable efforts to increase the share of the Romanian population in this province, as a result of the directed colonization process. In this process were involved both Romanian inhabitants and external inhabitants (Aromanians). Among the inhabitants of Romania who participated in the colonization process of Cadrilater were also numerous peasants from Teleorman County
