Începuturile învăţământului public sătesc în judeţul Vlaşca (1838-1848)

  • Subiect: During the 4th decade of the 19th century various measures were adopted in order to organize public education in Wallachian viliages. Schools were opened startirig with 1838 and they functioned up to 1848. But it was difficult to accomplish this process because of an acute Iack of teachers and proper buildings, and because the specific furniture and handbooks were insufficient. However, there haye been some successes, as you can see in the schedules.
