  • Subiect: In the few pages of the article, the authoresses try to present a whole world of faith, myths and legends carved in the stone of old Jewish tombs, leaving the imagination wander towards deeper strata of a long, rich history. All these funerary monuments make a vivid stone chronicle; by contemplating them today, we can understand how rich in historical and communitary information’s a funerary plate can be, by its shape, inscriptions, symbols recalling the personality of the deceased.
