Subiect: The Congress was organized in Bucharest, during August 24-28, at the Faculty of Law and Philosophy. Among the organizers and participants: cultural personalities such as Virgil Cândea (President of the Romanian National Committee of South-Eastern European Studies), Dan Berindei (President of the Historic Sciences and Archaeological Sections of the Romanian Academy), Paul H. Stahl (Director of the South-Eastern European Studies of the Romanian Academy), Ion Mihăilescu (Rector of the University of Bucharest), Academician Răzvan Theodorescu, Constantin Buşe, Elena Siupiur a.s.o. The participants (historians, anthropologists, philologists, philosophers, archaeologists, politicians, priests) have covered - in their debates - a wide space, even wider than the Balcanic one.
