Învăţământul farmaceutic în cadrul Universităţii Franz Joseph din Cluj (Ferenc József Tudományegyetem) 1872-1945

  • Subiect: Pharmaceutical education at the „Franz Joseph” University (Ferenc Jozsef/Tudomlmyegyetem) between 1872 and 1945 The Royal Hungarian University from Cluj was founded in 1872. In 1881 it changed its name, becoming the „Franz Joseph” Royal Hungarian University (Magyar Királyi Ferenc József Tudomanyegyetem ). The university had at the beginning four faculties, with 40 professors and 11 assistants: Philosophy, Philology and History; Medicine; Law and Political Sciences; Mathematics and Nature Sciences. Pharmaceutical education was of two years; during the first year students attended the Faculty of Mathematics and Nature Sciences and during the second year the Faculty of Medicine.
