Subiect: A Bucharestan „Pas Comme Ies Autres": the Sculptor Ştefan Ionescu-Valbudea A truly original and dedicated Artist is neither unanimously agreed with, nor easily understood by the contemporaries. Well integrated in the Occidental sculpture trends, Ştefan Ionescu-Valbudea found a rather reticent, refractory public in Bucharest. An interesting side of the matter was the positive part the newly-born Bucharestan press held in promoting the incontestable value of the sculptor's not very accessible works.
