Grupuri de rezistenţă anticomunistă în lumea satului bihorean între 1948-1950

  • Subiect: Anticommunist groups in the rural world of Bihor In the period 1948 - 1950, a number of resistance organizations appeared in the west part of Romania. The reports of Securitate pointed out three such groups in the districts Arad, Bihor, Sălaj. All these groups began their activity at the end of 1947 and the beginning of 1948. Each of these resistance movements had its own identity. First of all, the areas of action were different for each of them. The group Bădiceanu - Furtoş acted in the north of Bihor, the west of Sălaj and south-east of Satu Mare. Its members came mainly from the well-of peasantry the so called kulaks, but also from office workers, the clear-away military or students in holiday. The group leaded by Constantin Militam acted mainly in the central and south areas of the country, according to the reports. The members of the organization came from the intellectuals from Oradea and neighboring villages, office workers and clean-away military, but we could also find here other social categories. The third organization, leaded by Alexandru Curta acted in the mountain area from south - east of Bihor and north-east of Arad. The group was formed almost entirely by the ex-members of the legionary movement.
