  • Subiect: Spare Time Spending in Bucharest, in the Interwar Period The article presents the way in which Bucharest were spending their summer vocations and their week-ends in town. Summer gardens held a central place in the attention of all categories of Bucharestans. Swimming pools and picture palaces were places frequented by everyone, their history offering thus real samples of everyday life. Popular balls were events in the quarters of Bucharest.
