Arme din perioada revoluţiei paşoptiste în colecţia Muzeului Naţional de Istorie a Transilvaniei

  • Subiect: Arms from the 1848 Revolution in the Collections of the National History Museum of Transylvania Proof of the dramatic arms clashes during the civil war (October 1848 - August 1849), the museum's collection includes a multitude of types of weapons that belonged to various armed units and national guards that participated in military operations on the Transylvanian territory. The collection includes almost all types of bladed weapons and firearms known and used during the 1848-1849 revolution: shotguns, pistols, rifles, swords, bayonets, daggers, etc. At the same time, standard arms of the Austrian and Hungarian annies, noblemen 's arms, and hunting weapons were used along with weapons handmade by the highlanders in the Apuseni Mountains (spears, battleaxes, straightened scythes, etc.).
