Medalii şi distinţii acordate lui Frederic Storck

  • Subiect: The author presents the medals and decorations received by Frederic Storck. The medals were presented during the period of his studies al the Bucharest School of Fine Arts (1892-1893), at the Universal Exhibition in Paris (1900), at the Romanian General Exhibition in Bucharest (1906) as well as decorations received over 1904-1933: the medal „Bene Merenti", first class (1904), the Jubilee Medal Carol 1 (1908), the „Romania's Crown" order with knight grade (1907), the First Medal! granted at the formal show organized in Bucharest in 1912 by the „Society of Artists Alive", “Romania's Crown" order with officer grade (1922), the Grand Prix, first class, at the international Exhibition in Barcelona (1929), order of „ Cultural Merit" with knight grade, first class (1931) and the French order of „Legion d'Honneur" with knight grade (1933). The authors were mainly concerned with the appreciation enjoyed by Frederic Storck during his life, from his contemporaries, for his work and artistic devotion.
