  • Subiect: DOCUMENTS REGARDING THE ACTIVITY OF ASTRA'S BRANCH FROM SĂLAJ (1901-1905) The article unfolds the documents referring to the actlVlty of the XVIth Department of the Association for the Romanian Literature and the Culture of the Romanian People (abbreviated ASTRA) between 1901-1905. These testimonies were found in ASTRA's fund from the National Archives Department from Sibiu. The 29 enclosed documents reveal a rich and diversified activity during those years. This was due to the improvement of the activity of the association as well as its practical application at the level of each regional department and not last to the local initiatives.
