  • Subiect: ECONOMIC AND GEOGRAPHIC DISPARITIES OF THE INDUSTRIAL TYPE IN 2008 IN THE NORTH-WEST DEVELOPMENT REGION OF ROMANIA (I) Geographic space is the basic resource for the entrepreneurial initiative from various branches of the economy, and in particular for those with „industrial” field, while the policies and the ways to develop in time the resources quartered by „spacial reservoirs” constitute the main source for the economic and geographic disparities. Approaching the issue of economic and geographic disparities for the year of 2008 as a reference year in terms of secondary sector, the study records the value rendering of the economic and industrial development, including the disparities characteristic to the administrative, urban and rural areas from the North-West Development Region of Romania, by means of the economic suprastructure. Therefore, the elaboration of the subject aims at: – defining the concept of disparity; – drafting the methodological alternative of highlighting and the value assessment of the economical development and, including of the disparities; – representing cartographically the differences and disparities of the industrial development specific to the entrepreneurship in the field within the administrative areas form the regional level and the interpretations related on the hierarchical of the value units related to the economic superstructures. This material is a part of the doctoral thesis of the undersigned editing with small revisions and additions subchapter 4.51 concerning the economic and geographic differences and disparities in terms of secondary sector.
