Strada franceză - Studiu istoric

  • Subiect: „The French Street is one of the oldest in Bucharest and is part of the city’s traditional commercial core, whose heart was princely court (now called Old Court), to move residence in the new ruler Spirii Hill Farm. This street has several names, which can be identified from historical documents and plans of the city of Bucharest. Evolution of the modern urban infrastructure has been burdened by technical flaws, inconsistency in the conceptual work and results, limited budgets, etc. and discovered that its history is an amalgam of affairs and restorations, partial or full, and French Street was no exception. Predominant architectural style of the houses on the street is the eclectic French - inspired, considered modest volumes. The plastic facade with stucco in various shapes and patterns, membership reflects this combination of aesthetic principles.”
