town. The present state of related research allows only limited reconstruction of the town's image, prior to 1689. Information passed on by means of bibliography is
completed with preserved parts and fragments from before that fateful year, identified during the procedures related to the inventory of the Cetate neighbourhood (1997 and 1998).”
