Studiu de caz: Calea Moşilor

  • Subiect: „There have not been enough works on the vernacular-type architecture, the wood and glass walls on secondary front-side not being interesting enough for researchers and architects. On one of the historic streets of Bucharest, a former „princely road" in old times, there are stil I a few monuments with „glass facades" toward the inside yard; however they are in an advance status of degradation. This study sets out to examine these historic monuments on Calea Moşilor, some of them quite important for their civil architecture, characteristic for the 19th century in Bucharest Our purpose is to contribute to a more urgent restoration. We refer to two of the few inns still existing, but at risk og demolition „Hanul Neculescului", already forgotten, and „Hanul Solacolu".”
