After medieval state founding of Ţara Românească , demographic explosion and cultural leap, made this territory a province, which counterbalance, at confessional levei, the founding of Râmnic Diocese with Buzău Diocese , and at politically - military levei, Craioveşti boyars party, with the Buzău 's boyars party. Missing parts of written documents, from the XIV-XV centuries, referring to settlements and foundations, are mostly compensate, by the archaeological research, represented by the interwar unsystematic excavations, recently completed by archaeological excavations occasioned by the restorations of former monasteries ensembles and churches, as well as a complete series of arts and architecture articles and studies about other ensembles and monuments within area.
