Dreptul la neuitare – Arhiereul Policarp Popescu Bârlădeanul (1831-1876)

  • Subiect: The return to the consciousness of the posterity (175 years from the birth and 130 years after his death) of a servant of the Church, over which there was an unjust oblivion - Policarp Archbishop Poescu Bârlădeanul (1831-1876), former professor, inspector and director at the Neamţ Monastery Seminaries, Roman, and Huşi in such a troubled period of Church and Gentile life, as was the XIXth century, we believe it is not just an act of justice and recognition, but also of civic education, to bring to the contemporaries a virtuous model of sacrificial service to God and people. Even though his earthly life was short, only 45 years, through all his restlessness, the Archbishop Policarp Popescu managed to get his hands on, staying for posterity a "model of service" (especially for theological education) and that is why at 130 years from his death, the unbiased history places him where he is, the place of immortality.
