„Chestiunea orientală”. Conceptul şi elemente de istoriografie

Subiect: The affirmation of the term Oriental Problem was due to the English diplomacy who used to describe shortly the complicated situation between Russia, Austria and the Ottoman Empire in South-East Europe. The term evolved and reached consistency through various historiographical and diplomatic approaches. It was the press of the nineteenth century that popularized the concept of Oriental Problem. This popularization favored the process of national affirmation in Southeast Europe.
