Autentificarea viorii Stradivarius care a aparţinut savantului român Ştefan Odobreja

  • Subiect: The paper presents the experimental data obtained in order to authenticate the violin belonging to the Romanian scientist Stefan Odobleja, recovered while he was a child, along with a series of treasures of great value, from a train with prey to war, derailed in 1916 on the withdrawal to Germany near Tg. Jiu. In the analysis, non-invasive samples were taken from the label, vernis and wood. The paper of the label was dated by two methods: the glycolysis rate and the whiteness degree.
