  • Subiect: The religious feelings of Princess Elena Cuza had a rigorous source of moral and spiritual education in the parental home. Although she has left the parent home early, Princess Elena continued to nurture the love for those who gave her life and taught her respect for Christian principles. Getting to the highest social position, as First Lady, she has never changed her humble character. The benevolent acts she initiated and enthusiastically supported - be it addressed to the poor, the sick, the orphans, the pupils, the prisoners - highlight the sensitivity of her soul and the love for her fellow human beings. The devotion to her husband is remarkable. Even if after a few years she lost the privileged rank as First Lady, virtuous actions for helping those in need continued throughout her life. All of these aspects made Princess Elena appreciated and particularly respected by her contemporaries.
