Şcoala vasluiană în primul deceniu după Marea Unire

  • Subiect: The school, army and church have had a major contribution to the promotion of the cultural unity and conscience of the Romanian nation. In the year of the Great Union Centenary, we distinguish the changes from the educational area, generally speaking, the one from Vaslui, in particular, in the first years after this important moment in the national history. Two big problems have been outclassed by the Romanian School after 1918: the integration of the four educational systems of the old historical provinces and the school’s connection to the new needs of the time, the country’s modernization and industrialization. Spiru Haret’s system has been continued and improved, adjusting it to the conditions of Greater Romania. Many schools have been founded in the villages and communes of Vaslui, also industrial and all-girls high schools and classical education has been simplified. At the same time, the technical school has been significantly improved for providing workers to the factories that were being built in the country at the time.
