  • Subiect: The present material deals with the particularity of folk art, namely naive art. In modern society, folk art survives by the contribution of the cultural institutions and of the communication channels. The painter Ion Măric, also called Bădiţa, is one of the promoters of naive art in Bacău. Educated at the People's School of Art and Crafts Bacău, at the class of teacher Ilie Boca, Ioan Măric is a naive painter, present at the manifestations of folk art throughout the country and abroad, earning a number of awards and distinctions.
