  • Subiect: Together with the Nativity of the Forerunner, on June 24, we celebrate the Universal Day of Ia, symbolizing the identity and creativity of the Romanian areal, a tribute to these parts of the Romanian folk port, heritage of the tradition of the embroidery crafting art of the popular costume from generation to generation. Considered the essence of to the Romanian folk costume, the shirt with rectangular decoration (ia) is a popular woman's piece with a functional-decorative role tailored from fabric woven in the house and sewn by hand with motifs which offer a local specificity.
