Subiect: The study refers to the ancient decoration techniques of Transylvanian Saxon
etnographical textiles. There are described three types of embroidery points and the corresponding images of the way the points are made. These three points are: the cross point, the knitted point and the double faced point. There is alsa underlined the importance of knowing the original working techniques concerning the conservation and restoration process, and clues in setting the age of objects.
