O matrice sigilară a arestului de prevenţie şi corecţiune al districtului Râmnicu Sărat din perioada Principatelor Unite

  • Subiect: This paper aims to present a circular seal matrix from the collection of the National Archives of Romania, being the first matrix in use of the Arrest of Prevention and Correction of the Ramnicu Sarat County. The matrix (copper, 39 mm, incision) has, as central design of the die, a crowned shield, party per pale, in the dextra division being the Wallachian eagle with the head contourné, with a cross in its beak, on Azure and Or. At senestra it is represented the head of the Moldavian auroch, with a star between horns, on Gules and Azure. In exerga, the circular legend, written in Romanian with Latin alphabet: ✿ ARESTUL DE PREVENŢIE ŞI CORECŢIUNE ✿ DISTRICTUL/ RÎMN. SÂRAT.
