Muzeul satului moldovenesc în ser liber - un deziderat de neatis?

  • Subiect: This paper recreates, mainly on a documentary basis, the way in which several generations of ethnographic museographers from Iaşi tried to create an openair ethnographic museum. Four "stages" and a "moment" are assigned to these generations; all these five points in time receive the names of themuseographers who worked harder to materialize this project, while the brackets indicate the time period of their endeavor: Ion Chelcea (1943-1966), Gheorghe Bodor-Petru Cazacu (1967-1974), Angela Paveliuc-Olariu (1990-1995), Rodica Ropot (1995-1999) and Vasile Munteanu (1999-2012). Technical circumstances and details, noble hopes and frustrating disappointments, wasted energy and dreams - this is how one could summarize this true odyssey that began towards the end of World War II and came to an (hopefully temporary) end, in 2012.
