Reabilitare casa Miclescu (centrul de educare adulţi şi centrul de perfecţionare cadre didactice)

  • Subiect: Rehabilitation of Miclescu house (adult education center and teacher’ training center) The building, an ancient aristocratic house of Miclescu family, was built in 1868, with a height regime comprising a ground floor and a first floor, functioning with the same destination until 1949 when it was nationalized and given into use to the Ministry of Education. The building of the ancient Miclescu House represented a true public danger through the low degree of resistance, which imposed urgent consolidation measures. Thus, the foundations were consolidated through a system of ferroconcrete half belts – case sides, at the superior part of the foundations, respectively the execution of several armoured gunite coverings disposed exclusively at its exterior; the brick masonry was injected with slurry in its entire mass in order to enhance the resistances up to values corresponding to the 25 brand mortar (minimum); the walls were entirely consolidated through armoured gunite covering on both sides; the wooden beams were replaced with monolith ferro-concrete plates, leaning against load-bearing walls through half belts – case sides, also made of ferro-concrete; the covering was made of zinc plated sheet.
