Utilizarea tehnicii FT-IR în conservarea şi restaurarea obiectelor de patrimoniu

  • Subiect: Fourier Transform lnfrared Spectroscopy is an easy, versatile, economic and rapid non-destructive technique. The present paper focuses on the use of the above-mentioned technique în the characterisation of some samples, which were considered as representative for the cultural heritage. Studies were developed by using the advanced options of FT-IR: FT-IR microscopy and advanced processing of spectra. The results obtained confirm the large expectatives of this analytical technique and its usefulness in scientific investigation of historic, artistic and archaeological objects.
