Un model de management: Muzeul Sănătăţii şi Asistenţei din Bologna

  • Subiect: „The paper of Graziano Campanini, the director of the Museum of Health and Assistance, in the city of Bologna, presents a peculiar kind of museum, as the author emphasizes. The peculiar aspects ofthis museum are due to 4 elements: First, the Museum as a whole is formed by: a baroque Sanctuary still used for daily religious activities; a baroque Oratory which is used both as religious place and seat of cultural activities like conferences, conventions and concerts; other rooms which host a collection of objects witnessing the history of the religious Confratemity that founded the site în 1260. The second element îs the fact that the owner of the whole site îs the Local Health Unit of the City of Bologna. The religious management ofthe Sanctuary and the Oratory are regulated by a convention with the Bolognese Diocesan Curia. Lastly (but it is probably the most important element of all), the fact that the custody, the management, the organization of cultural events and the cleaning activity are done by a social cooperative of the "B" type (that is to say, a cooperative which gives work to disabled people), which has employed 7 patients of the Mental Health Department of the Local Health Unit to do the above-mentioned activities.”
