  • Subiect: „Which are the reasons for the Americans to commemorate in a museum the atrocities of the Second World War? The author takes into consideration the following: I. The unicity ofthe tragedy reported to all the crimes made in the history of humankind and another perspective of the Second World War; 2. The Nazism exterrninated over six million Jews and another five million non-Jews, a fact that should be known by everybody and recognized in an academic institution; 3. Showing the non-conflict aspect between the description ofthe unicity of the Jewish experience and including anothervictims ofthe Nazi regime, like gypsies, Slaves, coloured people, homosexuals etc.; 4. The scientific purpose and the educational one, based on the modem technology and its impact over different social categories and over the political medium. The author presents to Romanian some information about the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC.”
