Alimentarea cu apă a oraşului antic Potaissa

  • Subiect: THE ALIMENTATION WITH WATER OF THE ROMAN POTAISSA The present paper deals with some aspects regarding the aqueduct discovered in the city of Copăceni, which had the role to supply with water the ancient city of Potaissa and also the roman military carnp from here. The researches made in 1996 proved that the starting point of the aqueduct was clase by the old mill of Copăceni. The route of the aqueduct was followed on the terrain until the entrance in the actual city of Turda; from here, we have no evidence regarding the route of the aqueduct inside the ancient city Potaissa. We hope that the future investigations will elucidate the route of the aqueduct from the entrance in the roman city until the center of it.
