Subiect: On the basis of the documentary evidence are presented the aspects of the social-economic situation of the town in the period 1944-1947. The most important economic units had been: The enterprise „Mundus-Borlova~Armeniş”, „The Cask Factory”, „The Brick and Tile Factory”, „The Railway Engine Depot and Station”. Beside the revolutionary changes the whole country knows during this period an outstanding fact is that the workers led by the communists imposed their point of view with the aim to improve the conditions of labour and life in order to accomplish the agricultural reform.
