Subiect: During the archaeological excavations undertaken at the Medieval Church of Caransebeş a substantial number of textile fragments were collected from the tombs and mortuary cases. The main points of restoration and conservation of the fragments were: I. Research of the piece - analysis and taking of photographs; II - Description of the fragments (state of conservation - degradations); III - Description of the textile fragments; IV - Phases of the restoration process (treatments and conservation style).
