Restaurarea pieselor metalice descoperite la Biserica Medievală din Caransebeş

  • Subiect: After the archaeological campaign (1988) in the centre of the town of Caransebeş, the Museum of Ethnography and of the Frontier Regiment (Caransebeş) has improved its own collections with several silver, gold and gold and silver objects. The issue presents the author's work in restoring some of these objects which were affected by two kinds of corrosion: silver-sulphide and silver chloride. According to that, each object has been treated differently in order to preserve them the author has used the vinyl-polyacetate. Also, he has drawn up restoring-files and photos for each object.
