De la întuneric la lumină, de la grâu la pâine şi din moarte la viaţă

  • Subiect: Light means life, darkness means death on the Earth. They succeed each other and mark the time passing which dominates all the creation. A Christian cannot speak about his body and his human life but starting with Christ's embodying, His Crucifixion and Resurrection, as the unique and necessary reference points of his own life and his own body development. Jesus Christ's words "I am the light of the world" (John, 8:12) are emblematic for the whole mankind due to His Resurrection. The mortal body may become light and such a changing of the perishing, carnal body into a body of light is what we name and celebrate as Easter or the Resurrection. Christ the Lord chose and consecrated the bread and the wine as the unique natural parts of the Creation which change into His Body and His Blood through the Holy Spirit action beginning with the Last Supper to the end of the time. We do not halt at bread, and this means that we do not remain what we are, as well as the bread or the wine do not remain what they are, but together with them we mysteriously sink into the Resurrection and the Holy Body of Christ, into the immemorial flow of the saints' communion. And all together, alive or dead, but as immortal dead, forming a time, a space and a gestural language of the immortality, of the contested death destroyed and overturned under a perpetual pascal perspective: "With the death breaking down the death, and life giving to the dead".
