Subiect: The present work tries to analyse the theoretical premises and the practical possibilities of intercommunication between history and ethnography. In consequence of the presentation of some opinions expressed on this subject in the Romanian and foreign literature, one has concluded that there are many common fields of investigation. Some concrete examples about the popular architecture, the evolution of the traditional means of conveyance, the home-made textile industry and, also, about the popular pottery, underlines important elements and directions in the field of cooperation between history (in this case with archaeology, particularly) and ethnography.
