Directoratul Fiscal din Transilvania contra familiei Dolha din Răstoci (jud. Sălaj)

  • Subiect: The Fiscus Directorate Against Dolha Family of the Village Răstoci In order to put on end to annexation tendencies of the Austrian Empire and to consolidate the social basis of their domination the Transylvanian princes raised numerous peasant families to the rank of nobility during the 18th century. The peasants were given a certain amount of land from the fiscal property. In the second half of the 18th century, after the occupation of Transylvania by the Austrians, the Fiscus Directorate began to check the legality of these properties. That is why an action was brought against the Dolha family from Răstoci (district of Sălaj, ennobled in 1687 by the prince Michael Appafy. This action lasted 25 years with changing chances. At last the Dolha family remained owner of the Land given to them for their military merits.
