O statuetă reprezentînd pe Apis la Porolissum

Subiect: A STATUETTE OF APIS FOUND AT POROLISSUM The paper deals with a fragment of bronze statuette of Apiss. It was incidentally found on the territory of the Roman archaeological complex called Porolissum (Moigrad; Sălaj county), The fragment is the fore part of the bull (fig. 1). It was cast a cire perdue. The statuette, a fine piece of work, is one of the largest images or Apis found in Dacia. It shows a high degree of specialization. This make the author to consider as an imported item. The presence of this statuette et Porolissum contributes to a better knowledge of the cult of Apis during the existence of the Roman Dacia.
