Victor Russu şi arheologia Sălajului

Subiect: VICTOR RUSSU AND THE ARCHEOLOGY OF SALAJ The author presents the life and activity of Prof. Victor Rusu (1843-1910). the first writer dealing with the archeology of Sălaj district. Besides good belletristic works, he wrote from the Past of Silvania (Di11 trecutul Silvaniei), a historical legend based on historical data and Dacia Poroli sensă, a geographical-historical and epigraphic study concerning various archeological problems of the Sălaj District. Victor Rusu suggested that all the historical archeological documents referring to the district be put together, being in this way) a forerunner of the idea of founding a district museum.
