Aspecte ale colaborării dintre muzeografi şi restauratori

  • Subiect: The Need and Some Aspects of Collaboration between Jlluseumgraphers and Restorers Following with attention the condition of the museum-objects, as well as the museum graphics' (museum keepers') and the restorers' activity, the author proves in the light of some eloquent examples the need and the possibility of widening the collaboration between restorers and museum graphics. As there are cases when the objects discovered during excavations should be conserved at the spot, or when the lifting of some pieces without degrading them needs special qualification, instruments and suitable material, restorers specially trained in preventive conservation should be present at the most important archeological camps. On the other hand museum graphics and archaeologists themselves should know the modern methods of preventive conservation. In the absence of a restorer they should personally intervene for the salvation of feeble and frail objects. The organization of special courses with practical lessons for museum graphics and restorers and the delivering of some lectures in the faculties about preventive conservation for students who wishes to work in the fields of museums, would sensibly remedy the situation.
