  • Subiect: Conservation of Museum-objects with the Help of Vacuum Technics Analysing the shortcomings of the usual procedure of conservation and relying on the experiences and results obtained in the Museum of History Cluj, the author recommends the,conservation of the museum-objects by using vacullim technics. The possibilities of its application might serve the following purposes: - preventing and eliminating corrosion generated by oxygen found in air; - drying and degassing of the museum-objects; - impregnating and covering uniformly the objects with a protecting film; - deparasitation of materials.
