Satira sociala si morală creştină în grafica de secol XVIII. Studiu de caz

Subiect: „The satiric graphics in the artistic world of the 18th century compelled recognition both by the intrinsic value and the moralizing essence, for painting in a satiric manner the social bad habits and becoming so an ingenious educational way through fine art. William Hogarth was the one to impose a new artistic concept: “modern moral subjects”, series of paintings of some personages, their life choices, behavior and character. The series of engravings preserved in the National Museum of Transylvanian History, Cluj-Napoca, are plentifully illustrating the concept of satiric graphics of Hogarth’s work, proposing moral lessons in wholly unexpected way.”
