Bastarnii de la Roşiori. Obiecte şi ocupaţii

  • Subiect: „Archaeological research carried out during the ten campaigns allowed the discovery of vessels and other fragmentary objects in the bastarn level, but also in Dacian dwellings. The ceramic is represented by handmade vessels from the category of black pottery (cups, mugs, bowls, tureens, jars) and slippered pottery (bag vessels, provision vessels). These indicate the practice of pottery by the group on the terrace of the Moldova River. The spindles obtained from recycled black pottery prove another occupation, the spinning. The strainers, fire-dogs and censers are artefacts that indicate the practice of shepherding and hunting. The few pieces suggest a small number of occupations, but which reflects the daily concerns of the members of the Bastarne enclave from Roşiori.”
