  • Subiect: „In 1959, the late archaeologist Vasile Palade identified the settlement from Bârlad Valea – Seacă (Dry Valley), during some field researches, and later, following other researches, he realized that he made a huge discovery, namely revealing of a large craft center used to process antlers. From 1967 to 1986, he carried out several research campaigns that eventually led to the discovery of 24 surface dwellings, 21 huts/workshops, 10 household annexes, 12 hearths placed outside the dwellings, 8 spots for outdoor activities, 23 cult pits, 18 household pits and two ceramic pottery kilns. Also from 1972 to 1975 interventions in the settlement took place at the same time with the research of its related necropolis that was discovered by chance, in 1971.”
