Subiect: „The aim of the present note is to introduce in the scientific circuit a Roman amphora discovered at Bârlad-Valea Seacă, in a burial tomb (M 536) belonging to the Sântana of Mureş-Cerneahov culture. The amphora was produced in the Noviodunum area fortress and was used to transport wine. This type of amphora,
attested for the first time in the eastern Carpathian area, can be dated back in the second-third quater of the 4th century AD.”
