  • Subiect: „During the second half of the first Christian millennium east and south of the Carpathians, due to large migrations of populations there is a obvious economic decline. The connections with the Byzantine Empire allowed the transmission to the north of the Lower Danube of numerous influences, along with them a special importance having the supporting of the diffusion of the Christian religion. The ancient Daco-Roman structure of the native villages, the number of Romanics and their relations with the Byzantine civilization ensured the maintenance of Eastern Romanism in the space of Southeast Europe.”
