Necropola de tip Sântana de Mureş - Černjcahov de la Tigheci (Campania 2018). Date paleoantropologice

  • Subiect: „In 2018, the archaeological investigations in the Sântana de Mureş-Černjachov necropolis in Tigheci were focused on recue of partially destroyed burial graves. Five graves (G.6 - G.10) and a portion of another partially destroyed burial pit or grave, which had no human bones or archaeological material, were discovered. Regarding the grave inventory, we mention a fragment from a thick-walled glass beaker, discovered in G.9, the rest of the graves being completely devoid of goods. Several objects, some whole, some fragmented, were recovered from the surface of the site. At the surface of the soil were also some calcined human bones, which also indicate the presence of incineration graves in the Tigheci necropolis.”
