• Subiect: „This article is presenting the characteristics of a rather rarely encountered object, one discovered at Vorniceni-Pod Ibăneasa, and one found at Roma-Balta of Ciobanu, Botoşani County, Romania. The object from Vorniceni is framed in Cucuteni A-B phase, while the one from Roma was discovered following the previous researches in a Cucuteni B culture site. The bucrania from Vorniceni has a very interresting context, being discovered along with several objects which could prove some cult activities. For Roma, even if the specific context of this object is not precisely known, it certainly relates to the religious practices of the Cucuteni communities, as well as to a certain symbolic representation of the bull.”
