Aspecte privind terminologia utilizată în expertizarea operatorilor de artă. I. Noţiuni privind identificarea elementelor patrimoniale şi determinarea stării de conservare

  • Subiect: In this work are shown aspects about the terminology and the defining of some terms with a larger view, implied in the scientific expertise of the works of art, detailing by examples the problems of identifying the patrimonial elements, and setting out their state of preservation. As it is known, the scientific expertise of the works of art is a combined field which imply a complex system of methods and techniques of investigation, aiming to the achievement of three objectives: the identification of the element of the inheritance, establishing of the state preservation and establishing the compatibility between the new materials and methods of action (the active preservation and restoration) and the ancient-traditional artistic techniques. As the first two fields work with a series of concepts with confusing significance, it is more and more felt the necessity of introducing a properly and generally accepted naming (a system of marking, writing, codification and naming). Henceforth, this work shows in a first note, the periods and elements of the artistic expertise, followed by the correlation between the phenomenon of ageing, the effects of degradation and destruction on the ground of the process of microstructural destruction and altering, respectively.
